Inspiration: How to use the DS500

DS500 Active

DS500 Passive

The Active version of DS500 docking station locks your ROEQ carts with electromagnets. This locking feature makes DS500 Active ideal for automation setups with a robot arm loading and unloading cargo on and off docked carts.

DS500 Active also has a cart presence switch that registers whether the cart is docked or not. The cart presence switch could, for example, be customized to only allow automated loading on the cart when the cart is present.

Last but not least, carts can be docked and removed from DS500 Active both with your MiR250 and manually. This makes DS500 Active a flexible solution that can suit a wide range of internal-logistics demands.

The Passive version of DS500 docking station holds your ROEQ carts without electricity. This simple holding feature makes DS500 Passive ideal for automation setups with less demanding internal-logistics conditions.

Perhaps you merely want a designated area where your carts can be nicely aligned. Or you may want operators to manually load and unload the docked carts – in which case electromagnetic locking would be less relevant.

Just like with DS500 Active, carts can be docked and removed from this Passive docking station with your MiR250 or manually.
