“I have no doubt that Esben Østergaard will add great value, by challenging and testing the plans and proposals that we have for the future. Universal Robots has gone all the way from being a small enterprise to becoming a large industrial company. He has gained a lot of experience from this journey, which can help us stay focused and make the important and right strategic decisions, on our own growth journey “, says Michael Ejstrup Hansen, CEO of ROEQ.
Esben says that his goal is to invest his time in robots that do something good for the world. “For humanity, it is obviously a good idea to ensure a better flow in production, by freeing people’s time from monotonou and repetitive tasks and transport. People on the factory floor can best add value, by knowing something about customer needs, production processes and materials and not by moving things around”.
With over 80 partners in more than 40 countries, this is a very exciting time for ROEQ, as the company continues to upscale its business towards a position as the world’s leading supplier of equipment for mobile robots. “I would very much like to help ROEQ and their team of good people continue on their growth journey. I learned a lot in Universal Robots about how things should be done commercially, organizationally and technically,” says Esben Østergaard.
